Poole Food Bank is an exciting new project that seeks to help
people in their time of need by providing them with food and
signposting them on to further support.
Everyone who comes to us with a Poole Food Bank voucher is given a free parcel of food, enough to see them and their family through the next three days. At the same time, we offer a listening ear and, where appropriate, advise about other forms of support to help them deal with their situation in the long term.
All of the food - tinned and dried, to ensure easy storage - is donated by the local people.
Vouchers are held by churches and professionals working with people who may be in crisis.
